Drone racing is the latest sport to hit the world! Custom built drones are equipped with cameras which wirelessly transmit to the pilot in control who wears a VR style headset (known as goggles). The pilot then controls the drone looking through this video feed to manevour around a set designed course, competitng for the fastest times.

All of the NZ clubs hold regular practice days and races, with Drone Racing NZ holding the annual NZ Open which sees pilots travel around the country (and sometimes across the ditch!) competing to be #1 is NZ.
